Swiss alpine lake. This is Lago Nero (Black Lake), near Robiei, Val Bavona, in the Basodino mountain range, Maggia Valley, Ticino, Switzerland. The surrounding rock is a mixture of granite and gneiss, eroded by glacial action into cirques. Photographed in summer.
