Star cluster Chi Persei (NGC 884). This cluster is made up of young stars that formed from the same cloud of gas. Chi Persei is very young, its stars being just over three million years old. By comparison, our Sun is nearly 5 billion years old. Chi Persei is part of the so-called Double Cluster, along with h Persei (out of frame at bottom). The two clusters are separated by only a few hundred light years. Chi Persei is the more distant, at around 7400 light years from Earth. Both lie in the constellation Perseus.
