Danesh Moazed, US geneticist. Moazed was awarded his doctorate from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Since 1998, he has worked at the Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, where he is a Professor of Cell Biology. In 2008, he was appointed a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Investigator. His research group studies the cellular memory mechanisms responsible for stable inheritance of gene expression patterns.
