The Sirsiya- Birgunj Internal Clearance Depot (SBICD) is a Rs. 760 million World Bank- funded project that was completed in December 2002. Spread over 38 hectares, the dry port is reached through a 5.4 km rail link from the border town of Raxaul and has 7,105 sq metres of bonded warehouse space and storage capacity for 1600 cargo containers.Nepal 18 May 2007
