Reportage on a beekeeper in Haute-Savoie, France, who produces organic mountain honey. Arnaud has 250 bee hives managed organically. The hives are moved throughout flowering, limiting the risk of coming into contact with pesticides. In order to create new hives, Arnaud produces new queen bees. For a bee to become a queen, a hive needs to be orphaned, without a queen. In this case, the worker bees with feed a larva royal jelly and it will become a queen. Each queen bee can be put into a new hive with its worker bees.
