Demolition of Detroit housing towers. Part-demolished tower blocks during the demolition of the Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects in Detroit, Michigan, USA. These public housing towers were built in the period 1935 to 1955. They housed up to 10,000 people at their peak, but became derelict, the last housing being vacated in 2008. There were six towers, with two demolished in 2003, and the remaining four demolished in 2014. Photographed in August 2014.
