Twin " Powder Puffs " At London Hippodrome Children ' s Matinee . Children provided the entertainment at the annual London Hippodrome matinee in aid of the Queen ' s Hospital for Children , Bethnal Green . The children who took part ranged from two to seven years of age , and a " Modern Picture " showed small babies dressed as their mothers and fathers .
