Russia makes christmas toys again . Probaly for the first time since the revolution , there is a brisk demand for Christmas toys in Soviet Russia . The chief toy centre in Zagorsk , about 50 miles from Moscow . Here in a factory that was once a monastry , craftsmen are making hundreds of toys firgures which bear a certain resemblance to Santa Clause but are officially described as representations of an old Russian nobleman . Photo shows Sergei Butyrev , an artist , painting , an old Russian noblemen with women assistants at Zagorsk , to satisfy the Christmas market . 19 December 1935
