Farm in the heart of the East End. In the heart of Stepney's close pack streets and houses is a fully stocked farm containing 45 cows, three horses, hundreds of chickens, a dozen ducks, and a number of rabbits. The farm is in Jubilee Street and is run by Mr and Mrs Cave, whose family have farmed in Stepney for four generations. Photo shows, the scene in the milking shed on the farm. 29 August 1938
