Duchess of Kent's friend to marry young English engineer. 'Pearl of Dubrovnik'. Daska Ivanovic Banaz, 23-year-old friend of the Duchess of Kent, known for her beauty as 'Pearl of Dubrovnik', is to marry in London, Mr Geoffrey Farrer Kennedy, a young British engineer of Guildford (Surrey). Arrangements for the wedding followed a whirlwind courtship. The couple first met at the home of Mlle Banaz step father of the Dalmatian coast. The Duchess of Kent will attend the wedding.
