Rally route through native villages. Ivory Coast, West Africa. As natives look on, a Renault Dauphine car passes through the village of Banco, near Abidjan, during practice for the 5th Ivory Coast Rally, organised by the Automobile Club of the Ivory Coast. The rally started from Abidjan yesterday, and after covering a distance of some 1,488km competitors will arrive back in Abidjan today for the finish. 22nd February 1959.
