There were great rejoicings in the Ealing home of Mrs Thornton - wife of Mr L C Thonrton - one of the imprisoned British employees of the Metropolitan Vickers Company - when news was received that her husband and Mr William Macdonald had been released from prison - This movement follows the conversations between Sir John Simon and M Litvinoff in London and the lifting of the trade embargo on Russian goods - photo shows Mrs Thornton with her son Edward and daughter Eva at their home at Ealing London where they are waiting the return of Mr Thornton July 1st 1933
