General view of the 35 ton crane erecting the 25 ton Big Top at Richmond Athletic Grounds in readiness for its world premiere there of cinerama on April 17th . Called the Super Cinerama Mobile theatre , it is the first touring cinema in this country since before the First World War . The film to be shown int the 128 feet diameter , 1216 seater theatre is " This is Cinerama " . The theatre features the largest cinema screen in Britain - 103 feet wide and 37 feet deep . After its two week stay it will tour southern England . The big top was made by Stromeyer in West Germany . 7th April 1964
