Sleek Speedster Of The Future. Sleek as a sword is "Le Sabre", experimental two-seater sports car with the sweeping lines of a jet aircraft, designed by General Motors of America. The simulated tail cone and dramatically styled tail fins are some of the advanced design feature of the car, seen here in ful-size plaster model form exactly as it will appear when completed. G.M. designers call it an "experiment in the automotice future", and the car will be a laboratory on wheels for testing both mechanical and styling ideas sketched on the drawing-board and discussed in shop-talk. 02 January 1951.
