Mrs Ley, 70-year-old wife of Thomas John Ley, a former Minister of Justice the New South Wales, one of the 2 accused men in the chalk pit murder trial at the Old Bailey, has arrived in England after making the 12,000 mile journey from Australia by flying boat. She landed at Poole airport last night and travel to London today, to be near her husband during the trial. One of Mr Ley's sons has already flown here to assist his father in the preparation of his defence. 22 March 1947
