Mr William Clayton, U.S Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, who arrived in London by air from Paris early this afternoon met Sir Stafford Cripps, President of the Board of Trade, for discussions on the dollar situation, at the Board of Trade, London later today. Mr Clayton was accompanied by Mr Lewis Douglas, American Ambassador, at the talks which were attended by Mr Harold Wilson, Secretary for Overseas Trade and leader of the U.K delegation at the International Trade Organisation meetings in Geneva. 20 April 1947
