Bloodhound in action Bristol aeroplane company Ltd This film sequence taken at the Woomera Rocket Range shows the test firing of a Bristol / Ferranti Bloodhoud missile against a radio controlled aircraft. In spite of evasive action executed by tehetarget , Bloodhound homes on to the doomed aircraft and scores a direct hit . The missile shown in the sequence was unarmed and in spite of this the target was completely destroyed by impact .
