QUALIANO child laborer waiting for the day of engagement. You collect the nuts; and are sought after because two small children do the work of an adult and they cost almost nothing. The hands and nails are black long due to the tannin content in the husk. Many of the children who do not find engagement do not come home; and are dispersed in the fields to provide themselves somehow lunch. This season no one dies of hunger: there are apples; tomatoes and melons big sweetish.
