COMTE DE PARIS Louis Philippe Albert d 'Orléans (1838 - 1894) French politician. Count of Paris and initially Crown Prince Orleanist under the July Monarchy; later renounced political all'orleanismo; becoming unionist pretender to the French throne with the name of Philip VII. Depicted the return from exile on the road to Paris with Cockerel on a leash; scepter and crown under his arm; and a suitcase full of assorted freedoms.
