SOUTH AND MAGIC Cross with two 'dresses'; one is the one in which it is stored. Dress is the name of the amulet packed by maciari; a bag containing small crosses made of sticks or pieces of cane; bearing inscriptions propitiatory / magic. In the bags that had to be in contact with the skin; seeds were kept well and other 'signs' for which they were awarded special protective effects.
