Masik Village archaeological site, Mechigmen Bay, Chukchi Peninsula, Chukotka, Far Northeast Russia, Northern Bering Sea. Site consists of subterranean dwellings, food caches and possible ceremonial structures. Materials used in construction were whale skulls, ribs and jawbones. Masik Tradition.
