Entitled: "Outhouse, interior. University of Mississippi, Skipwith House, Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi." An outhouse, also known by many other names, is a small structure, separate from a main building, which covers a pit latrine or a dry toilet. The term may also be used to denote the toilet itself, not just the small housing structure. Photographed by Jack E. Boucher for Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic American Engineering Record, 1975.
