Bush Stone-curlew (Burhinus grallarius). On the road to Port Warrender, Mitchell Plateau, Kimberley, Western Australia. Reasonably common across the Top End and northeast but uncommon in the southeast and southwest. Inhabits open grassy woodlands. These Kimberley birds are more rufous than the greyer eastern birds.
