View of the Day Room of the Convalescent Police Seaside Home in Portland Road, Hove, East Sussex, with tables and chairs, a harmonium on the right, and an upright piano in the far right corner. The building was officially opened in 1893, and operated as a police convalescent home until 1966. The building is now a nursing home. The architect was John George Gibbins FRIBA.
