Victory Medal, 1914-19. The lacquered bronze medal, by W McMillan, commemorates the victory of the Allies over the Central Powers. On the obverse is Athene Nike, goddess of victory. On the reverse is inscribed the Great War for Civilisation. The recipient's name and service details are inscribed around the edge. (Reverse)
