Hong Kong, 2018; Here we see Lion Dancing costumes on the pavement at Victoria Peak, left there after a ceremonial building opening. Lion dancing is an important part of Chinese culture, performed to mark special events, ceremonies, rituals and openings. Performers - often martial artists - mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume to bring good luck and fortune. It is a always colourful and noisy (very!) spectacle.
