Pandora; Pandora is depicted as a young; half-naked woman sitting backwards on a small column. It is made of ivory; with loosely attached arms. She wears a rose branch in her hair. She turns around with her upper body and face. Around her body a silver drapery that turns downwards around the column. In her left hand an enamelled gilt silver box with palmettes and dolphins on enameled ground in blue and red. A gold-plated silver snake against the column shaft. On the stepped square foot of the column at the front a text plate surrounded by laurel branches on which: PANDORE. Two silver appliques on the sides respectively. with a lizard between ivy and a snail between vines. The column shaft is made of lapis lazuli; the column base is made of jasper and the whole rests on a serpentine stone base with dog heads cut into the corners.
