A repeating pattern of two alternating compositions on axes of symmetry with flower vases; flower baskets; canopies and volute drinks. The motifs are connected to each other by a hexagonal mesh with picots. The full work is made with festival stitches with recesses; some motifs are filled with decorative ground. The scalloped bottom edge comes from the pattern. The top is trimmed with a bobbin lace edge.
