Royal Navy - Grumman G-36A or G-36B Martlet I (without knowing the serial number it's hard to tell). The French and British Purchasing Commissions ordered Grumman G-36A and G-36Bs respectively. None of the French aircraft reached France before they capitulated in 1940, so they were all diverted to Great Britain, entering service as the Martlet I. The G-36 was to all intents and purposes equivalent to the US Navy F4F-3 Wildcat, but modified to suit the customers, like push throttles instead of pull throttles, British instruments and Radios. Date: circa 1940s
