Silvered leaf monkeys Trachypithecus cristatus cristatus in a tree. Also known as the silvered langur or silvert lutung, this is an arboreal monkey found in mainland Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo. It is typically found in coastal and estuarine forests, where it feeds mainly on leaves, characteristically eating them after rolling them up. It is relatively abundant in its habitat, but is listed as near threatened by the IUCN, largely due to habitat destruction. Filmed in Bako National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia.
