Johan Strauss's Jr. Gravesite in the Central Cemetery, Vienna, Austria. Johann Strauss, Jr. was born October 25, 1825 the first of five children. By 1849, Strauss Jr. had already established himself as the Viennese Waltz King. His first operetta "Die Fledermaus" had its premiere in 1871. His most famous waltz is the "Blue Danube." He died in 1899.
