Stegosaurus fossil displayed at the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum in Vernal, Utah, USA. The museum displays dinosaur models, skeletons, bones and fossils. Stegosaurus (foreground) was a large herbivorous dinosaur that also in the Late Jurassic period. Fossils have been found in Europe and the USA. It reached up to 9 metres long. They are known for their distinctive kite-shaped upright plates along their backs and spikes on their tails.
