This cockatoo features a short, erect crest and a large, curved bill. Males have a dark grey beak and pink eye-rings, while females possess an off-white beak and grey eye-rings. Currently, Carnabys Black-Cockatoo is currently listed as endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species due to habitat degradation.
