
Boy Paratroops For Cyprus -- Smart and smiling four are boy soldiers of the 3rd Battalion, the 16th Independent Parachute Brigade Group. To-morrow (Monday), ***** the Brigade Group they leave by sea for Cyprus. They are (left to right): Tony Bridger, aged 17, of Eastbourne; Arthur Tidswall, 17, of Dublin; Norman Dunbavin, 17, of Newmaret, and 16-year-old Alistair Hunter of Birmingham. Field Marshal Lord Montgomery, as Colonel Command of the Parachute Regiment, to-day addressed the Brigade Groups three Battalions, being sent to Cyprus to protect British interests in the Middle East. June 3, 1951.
