
La Belle Fatma, 1887. Portrait photograph of a dancer, whose name has been referenced in newspapers of the time as, Fatma Ben-Eni or Ben-Eny. The Tunisian entertainer performed at The Royal Aquarium in London as part of the "Troupe du Concert Tunisien". She was nineteen at the time of the performance.
