White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) camouflaged in the woods. This is the most common deer species in North America. They are able to survive in a variety of terrestrial habitats. Their bodies are always brown, however in general they are greyer in the winter and redder in the summer. Photographed in the woods of Belle Isle Park, an island in the Detroit River Michigan, USA.
