Southern part of Sweynes Howes Neolithic cairn located on Rhossili Down, Gower, Wales, UK. These cairns are burial monuments. The name may derive from Sweyne, a Viking, after whom Swansea is supposed to be named. The chamber of the cairn consists of two large upright stone slabs. The large capstone has shifted backward, while the blocking slab has fallen forward and now lies on the ground between the two upright stones.
