Japan: The Ryugomon entrance gate at the Sofuku-ji, an Obaku Zen temple, Nagasaki, Kyushu. The temple, an example of Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644), southern Chinese architecture, dates from 1629 and was built by a Chinese monk named Chaonian.
