The Marble Mountains comprise five limestone and marble hills near Da Nang in central Vietnam. Each mountain is named after one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. The mountains feature a network of tunnels, caves, grottoes, and Buddhist sanctuaries that attract both religious pilgrims and casual tourists. Over the centuries, monks and artisans have hand-carved intricate statues, pagodas, and altars from the naturally occurring marble within the formations. The Marble Mountains stand as a testament to the regions rich cultural and spiritual history. Da Nang, Vietnam.
